Congratulations to the 1st and 2nd Division Teams who competed for GSA in the Lord Mayor's Annual Tournament on Sunday 20th Sep 2009.

GSA won both the 1st and 2nd Division of the Compound Section.   In doing so, the 1st Division Team also broke the existing State Record for the Event.

The 1st Division Team consisted of (in alphabetical order): Tristan Barrett, Pat Coghlan and Sherry Gale.

The 2nd Dision Team consisted of (in alphabetical order): Chris Coghlan, Jesse Gale and Aaron Grubel.

It was a great day for shooting at the Athelstone venue with both moderate temperatures and light winds.  Also, no rain!!!

There was also a record number of teams competing, 25 teams of 3 in all, with competitors coming from all around the State.  This makes the win even more impressive for GSA.

 A special mention needs to go to GSA member Gary Petts who organised, very efficiently, the composition of the teams and their entry into  the Tournament.  GSA would not have been in it if it had not been for Gary. :)
