GSA President Pat Coghlan in Porec Croatia

For the last two days Pat Coghlan, GSA Club President, has been representing Australia in the 2nd round of the Archery World Cup being held in Porec, Croatia.

The standard of competitors has been extremely high with Pat Coghlan comng eleventh out of seventy four in the qualifying round after shooting a score of 1400! Only two Australians have ever shot 1400 in any tournament and internationally for 11 people to all shoot 1400 and over (up to 1411) is a world first and a record which may stand the test of time.

Mitsubishi Indoor closes

A Day to Remember!

On 20 October 2004, Strathalbyn Target Archers welcomed the Hon. Alexander Downer, Australian Foreign Minister and Member for Mayo to our clubgrounds. Mr Downer presented the club with a ride-on mower to help maintain the grounds.
