Near perfect conditions saw some really impressive shooting.

Archery is a sport where every member of the family can enjoy and Great Southern Archers is proud to have a number of family units shooting from the recreational l shooters to the full competitive shooters.

Quite a number of parents have taken up archery because son or daughter began shooting with the AJAD classes which are held every second Saturday morning.

Sherry Gale began shooting after following her son Jesse around to tournaments and club shoots and is now travelling the world competing for Australia at World Competitions.

Jesse Gale is now practicing to qualify for the Junior World Indoor to be held in Poland in 2009. Jesse has just recently taken up a Compound Bow and is shooting very well. Jesse previously shot a Recurve Bare Bow (no sights) and is State and National Champion and has numerous State and National Records. But now has proceeded to another level of shooting which is Compound.
